About the Team
As a part of Walmart Global Tech, you’ll design digital products that deliver exceptional experiences for Walmart associates. The tools that we build digitally enable users, improve efficiency, and help our fellow associates make more data-informed decisions for their teams and the business. The ideal candidate will be an experienced UX/UI Designer, who can communicate design recommendations, execute design ideas, lead discussions, and manage stakeholder relationships.
Our UX team supports multiple business areas such as Finance, Global Governance, Global Responsibility, and HR.

You’ll make an impact by:
- Bringing curiosity and dedication to solving problems and delivering value for our users
- Leveraging design best practices when creating user flows, mockups, prototypes, workshop documents, and hand-off files
- Using various communication methods to convey data-driven design decisions, document design engagements, share information, and work towards alignment and mutual understanding
- Defining vision and strategies for each project through domain expertise, internal and external best practices, and by identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation
- Building collaborative relationships within our team and cross-functionally with our partners by aligning design efforts with business goals
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field and 2 years industry/related experience
- OR 3-5 years industry/related experience
- OR UX certification (example: Nielson Norman) and 3 years industry/related experience
- Experience creating and handing off designs in design software (Figma preferred).
- Strong ability to communicate UX design decisions and UX best practices
- Experience working with multiple team members and stakeholders (business, product, engineering)
- Fantastic portfolio of elegant and strategic solutions highlighting your human-centered design process.
- Must be able and willing to think and act strategically and tactically.
- Be knowledgeable of ADA and inclusivity standards.
This role must be located in the Dallas, TX or Bentonville, AR area.

Minimum Qualifications…
Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 2 years’ experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.
Option 2: 4 years’ experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.

Developing user experience solutions with agile methodology, eCommerce, Software Design
